Color: It has a rich copper appearance in the glass.
Nose: The nose brings forth sweetness of honey, molasses, and caramel with hits of citrus.
Flavor: The mouth feel is rich and oily with sweetness of caramel, peaches and vanilla with some spice.
Finish: The finish is medium long, combining initial sweetness which progresses to a little tartness. It was a bit warm on the palate, but the pepper settled down with a touch of water.
Comment: "Sweet heat" was the best description for this decent single malt whisky.
